Abstract
Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in elderly men, and the second
leading cause of cancer-related death in developed countries. For a long time, TRUS
is used in screening, diagnosis of prostate lesions. Recently the implementation of
multi parametric MRI into a screening program currently seems to be the most
promising technique to improve the early detection of prostate cancer.
