Abstract
Introduction addressed the following areas of interest: The importance of the noble metal silver (Ag), which follows gold and platinum in the electromotive force series EMFS (Ag metal has unlimited applications, especially in the fields of: electronics, electrodes, and the preparation of silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) (needed in medical and pharmaceutical applications), the necessity of applying circular economy principle, for management solid wastes in metal recovery, especially Ag metal, methods (cementation and electro-deposition (ED) for recovery Ag from disposed X ray radiographic papers (XRRP) previously used in radiology centers.
