المستخلص

Children with visual mental disability represents category of low prevalence among children with special needs. They are children suffering for tow handicap together sensory disability represented in visual disabilities and mental disabilities as at become clear that loss of vision leads to delays am and deficiencies in motor development , as the child without clear vision may move less often its moves in the past have caused painful contact with the environment . the concern of parents to the safety of their children may also contribute to reduce the opportunities for exploration of physical activity , and can lead to draw these children their energy to other behavior such as vibration, beatings or tossing violently and all that may affect their and social skills.
Problem of the Study:
Children with visual mental disabilities through the same stages though which sighted children cross from physical point, but the growth is characterized by being slow and this is due to factors related to the direct loss of sight and restrictions set by others on their activities, and there are many factors that affect the independence of the individual during, these factors may have the relation e with social and environmental characteristics.
Children with visual mental disabilities are late in each of the motor development and motor learning and they have deficiencies in the performance of motor functions.
It is expected that Children with visual/ mental disabilities suffer from mental deficiencies. Despite the difference between members oh of that class because they are heterogeneous class but there are some features that may be involved, such as the difficulty of orientation, mobility, communication and to the skills of everyday life am and lack of adaptive behavior.
from the above mentioned, the researcher can conceptualize the study problem in the following question:
To what extent can we early intervention program develop basic orientation and mobility skills in children with Visual/Mental Disabilities.
