Abstract
Summary and Conclusion
Two experiments were carried out in sabahia agricultural research station in Alexandria throughout 2004/2005 and 2005/2006 growing seasons. The objectives of these experiments were to study the effect of planting dates and spraying arrows of some sugar cane varieties with the different concentrations of gibberellic acid, indole acetic acid and pix solutions on growth, flowering, yield and technological characters of five varieties of sugar cane which were obtained from sabahia research station.

1-Minimum days to development stage.
2-Minimum days to flag stage.
3-Minimum days to tip stage.
4-Minimum days to full flowering stage.
5-Flowering percentage.
5 .1.2 Yield and yield components:
1-Length of stalk (cm).
2-Diameter of stalk (cm).
3-Number of internodes /plant.
4-Number of green leaves in the arrow /plant.
5-Weight of stalk yield were estimated as (tons /fad ).
6-Wight of arrows yield were estimated as (tons/fad) .
5 .1.3 Sugar yield and some technological characters:
1-Total soluble solids percentage (T.S.S%).
2-Sucrose percentage.
3-Sugar yield (tons /fad).
5 .2 The main results were summarized as follows:
5 .2.1Effect of planting dates:
• Autumn planting surpassed significantly whereas caused earliness in development stage, flag stage, tip stage and full flowering stage.
• Spring planting surpassed significantly on flowering percentages during 2005/2006 season. Whereas during 2004/2005 not assimilation rate.
• Autumn planting of sugar cane significantly increase in length stalks, diameter stalks, number of internodes and weight of stalks.
