Abstract The difficulty of collecting blood for detection of Brucellosis needed the of milk and milk serum as easier method on this respect. using In an aim to determine the most suitable test for the diagnosis of frucellosis in milk, a total of 54 milk samples were collected from riesian dairy cows belonging to a herd with a history of brucellosis. ese were subjected to the MRT and EL1SA milk test. Whey was eparated from milk samples for carrying out WBAPAT, WRBPT, 1Riv.T and WELISA test The ELISA milk test was taken as a reference standard for evaluating Jther tests. The sensitivity obtained were (48.148%), (65.52%), (68.97%), )9.66°%) and (92.308%) for MRT, WRBPT,WBAPAT, WRiv.T and WELISA t, respectively. The specificity obtained were (72.222%), (72.22%), (100.00%), (61.11%) id (93.75%) for MRT, WRBPT, WBAPAT, WRiv.T and WELISA test, spectively. The agreement calculated were (48.1%), (59.30%), (70.40%), (68.50%) d (79.6%) for MRT, WRBPT, WBAPAT, WRiv.T and WELISA test, 4pectivei. The results of different tests were discussed. It was concluded that e milk ELISA was relatively more sensitive and specific and the WELISA test as a good substitute to the .ELISA milk test. Serum tests as BAPA, RBPT and Riv.T need further investigations to be pted for whey. |
