Abstract l)This study was undertaken to determine the pattern of utilization at El-Kalakla El-Gubba Health Centre in Sudan. This was accompanied with the study of medical records maintained at the health c:ntre. 2)The health centre records were studied to explore the demographic characteristics of the population. 3)The total number of families included in El-Kalakla El Gubba region was 3309 consisting of 22887 individuals and distributed in 15 Blocks. 4)The total number of males and females was (50.82) and (49.18) respectively. The age distribution of both sexes is present in the tables. 5)Utilization rates with the selected variables such as age, sex, occupation and education of users were cal culated. 6)A sample of 500 family records was drawn at random which included 3322 family members as a total. The chosen records were reviewed to study the demographjc charac teristics of the users, the reason for I visi ting the health centre, the prevalence of diseases, laboratory services, rate of visits,- determination of the number of nonOusers, and to determine the degree of completion and accuracy of the records. |
