All materials were to Vicker’s hardness test, compression test, tensile strength test and compressive creep The materials were mixed according to manufacturer instructions and prepared according to A.D.A. specification No. 27 for direct filling resin. For hardness test disc—shaped samples were prepared in a plastic mold (5 mm in diameter and 4 mm thickness). For the other three tests cylindrical specimens 6x3 mm were prepared in split propylene (teflon) mold. All samples stored in distilled water for 24 hours at 37°C in an incubator. The total number of samples was 100 which were divided into four groups. Each group contained five samples of the five materials. Each group was subjected to one individual test. |
