Abstract This thesis is interested mainly in the nonlinear analysis of transistor oscillators. This makes it possible to study frequency stability of the oscillator and hance try to improve the stability. For the duality and similarity between tubes and transistor, studies have been made for tht previous work in vacuum tubes oscillators. The thesis Consist of three chapters. The first one, gives a survey of the previous work in sol- ving the nonlinear differential equations in vacuum tube oscillators and the methods which are used to improve the frequency deviation from that of the resonator. A new method have been suggested which was proved theoritically and experimentally to improve this frequency deviation. The second chapter, gives a survey of the previous work on the nonlinear analysis of transistor and the large signal models which are used. A new method of analysis of that type of oscillators have been suggested. Also studies on the frequency and the factors affecting it and methods of improvement are discussed. The third chapter, gives, a new general method of analysis of the oscillator with any active device (tubes or transistors), also for any oscillator circuit cenfiguration under any class of operation. The results of that method wa~; checked. by comparing it with the known results of some :;,pecialcases. |
