Abstract
Mothers and children are the most precious resources for nation’s future. The survival, development and protection are the responsibility or both community & government .This study is done to provide the reliable information about the strengths and weaknesses affecting the quality of MCH functions. It is hoped that the result of this study can be use in formulating strategies to improve the MCH services .This study is conduct in MCH center in Shebin El-Kom City based on the following criteria :It is located in a densely populated area.Of easy geographical accessibility to the consumers.One thousand and seventeen children (540 male & 477 females) attending the MCH center in the period from November to February 1999 are randomly selected as 1 to 10 children (systemic random sample ) .Also this work deails to :1- Evaluate the quality of child health services provided by M.C.H centers in Shebin El-Kom City using a standardized questionnaire and check list .2- Uncover pitfalls in child health program and set a suitable recommendations to improve quality .
