Abstract
Despite high vaccination coverage, measles is still considered as an endemic diseases in egypt particularly among school children .the present study was designated to estimate the immune status against measles in vaccinated children at 4 years of age .measles specific lgg antibodies were measured using elisa technique in 68 children from menofiya covernorate who recived 2 does of measles in vaccinated at 9 and months of age .the cjildren were divided into 3 age groups.- group (1) included 35 children from 42 to 48 months of age .- group (11) included 23 children from 49 to 55 months of age .group (111) included 10 children from 56 to 63 months of age .the results showed that 14 children 20.6% had no protecteve level of lgg antibody against measles in correlation between ab titre and age the results showed that there was statistically significant positive correlation (i.e measles lgg titre correlated inversely with age )the obtained results showed also that, means antibodies titre against measles decreases with age in correlation between means antibodies in the 3 groups .
