Abstract C oloi Dii soomph’f e üati f the breast has been found to be one of the new promising modalities in the diagnosis o?d’erentbreast masses. This thesis included the full personal history, clinical examintaion, mammographic study for some cases, sonographic examination , color Doppler study and histopathological diagnosis mr 11 nts complaining of breast masses. The aim of this work is to evaluate the role of color Doppler sonographic examination in diagnosis and differentiation between benign and malignant palpable breast masses. The idea of color Doppler ultrasonography depending upon the detection of neovascularity of the tumors which are characteristically tortuious , irregular and showing special criteria for malignancy. Color Doppler ultrasonography has the advantages of being easy,noninvasive and accurate technique in the scanning and imaging of of breast tumors.
