Abstract
In this study 70 eyes of 64 subjects suffered from pco after ecce with or without iol implantation for which nd : yag laser posterior capsulotomy was done . high statistically significant improvements in the uncorrected , best corrected visual acuity and in the contrast sensitivity test results were found , and these results were comprable to results of other authors. the complications of laser posterior capsulotomy were found to be almost comparable to results of other authors regarding different instruments used. on conclusion nd : yag laser is an easy , safe , and simple method for treating pco.
