Abstract

I. INTRODUCTION
Sugar beet (Beta vulgaris, L.) is one of the most important sugar crops in the world. In Egypt sugar Industries encourage sugar beet growers to increase the cultivated area with sugar beet for decreasing the gab between sugar production and consumption. It is the major second crop after rice in the new reclaimed area in North Delta. It gives the grower in this low fertility soils profitable income.
Sugar beet is also area snowball sugar manufacturing seasons in the factories in order to make more benefits from the capital assists of the factories in Upper Egypt. Thus growing only sugar can is not the most economic may in time of the great development being to day in Egypt and the high needs of water.
In Egypt sugar beet area cultivated at 2002/2003 season nearly from 131323*feddan gave the sugar yield 1.575, 8.7, 6.036* ton white sugar compared with that area cultivated at 1981/1982 season nearly from 16943* feddan gave the sugar yield 16937* ton white sugar. That increase due to many investigation and growers efforts through this period decreased the gap between the consuming and production of sugar in Egypt.
Improvement of sugar beet production can be achieved through optimizing the cultural practices such as fertilization (good management program concerning nitrogen rate, bio-fertilization and plant density). agronomic variable known to obtain maximum sugar beet growth and yield as well as improve its quality.
The present investigation aimed to study the effect of organic bio-fertilization and plant density on yield and quality of sugar beet (Beta vulgais, L.,).
