Abstract
This Study has been carried out during the two successive seasons (2004/2005 and 2005/2006) at Somosta , Beni – Suif Governorate, to study the comparative evaluation of three onion cultivars ( Allium cepa L. ) Giza 6 mohassan , Giza 20 and Composite EL- Bostan . under the effect of some agricultural and post – harvest treatments were tested in Split-plot design with four replication .
Results indicated that ” Composit EL- Bostan ” recorded the highest yield. And the lowest marketable yield was recoreded when onion treated with two times of irrigation .As for curing plants for two weeks , it has increased the efficiency of storing onions.
