Abstract The present study was conducted in order to evaluate and compare two differetn methods of bone expansion using threaded bone expanders in association with two-piece implant in the maxillary esthetic region. Twelve patients with a total number of fourteen sites of division B localized ridge defect, related to maxillary anterior teeth were selected. All sites were indicated for delayed implant placement simulateously with ridge expansion. All the patients were free from any systemic diseases and non-smokers. They had a good oral hygiene, an adequate inter-occlusal, and a psychological acceptance to the implant and its involved procedures. |
