Abstract
The aim of the present study was to evaluate the role of combination of interferon cisplatinum in the treatment of advanced carcinoma of the cervix as well as to assess if this combination is more effective than cisplatinum alone.
Also to evaluate if this ore-radiotherapy treatment would increase the complete remission rate following radiotherapy versus radiotherapy alone, and hence affect the survival.
All patients were subjected to complete clinical examination and complete work up for diagnosis and staging according to FIGO staging system.
