Abstract
SUMMARY
/
_ The most common model of hebephrenic fathers in our sample was
of a man of average education, holding a modest job, of average
education, regliosity mostly introvert with limited social relations.
- The most common type of fathers among hebephrenic fathers were
the psassive , inadequte over indalgent , overprotective and over
anxious fater . and there was a statistically segnificant differencce
between them and other control groups .
_ Fathers of hebephrenic sohyophrenics were domineering is only is
24% of families , and were submissive is 24% of them . with a
staticelly significant difference when compared to other control
groups.
_ Schiziod personality was the most prevailing among hebephrenic
father as it was present in 33.33% of them . with a stetistically
significant difference when compount to fathers of control groups.
_ Meatel examination of hebephrenic fathers showed that 48% of them
were neurotic , 24% were psychetic while 28% of them were
mentally free.
_ The most commen pattern of father mother interaction among
hebephernic was reversal of parental rule as it was present in 50%
of them ., with a statistically singnificant difference when compared
to those of other groups .
_ Father patient interaction was charcterised by inadequat , over
protectiveness, over indalgent , and symbistic relations and the
difference between them and these other groups was significant.
- As regard the difference between fathers of male and femele case no
statistically significant difference was detected between the two
groups as regard their educational case , occupation social relation
adjustment , while fathers of male case were more neurotic and
psychotic then those of female cases , while fathers of female , has
more adequate personitally then those of male cases.
- Fathers of female cases was found to be passive , inadequate , over
indulgant , over protective than those of male with a statistically
significant difference between them and those of control groups .
- Fathers of hebephrenic pateints scored high on hypechondriasis ,
depressive , hysteria psychastheina paranoia and schizophrenia
scales of the MMPI quiestionare , and no statisically significant
difference between fatehrs of male and those of female cases as
regard their scores on MMPI.
- The most commen model of hebephrenic mothers in our sample was
of a house wife women of low educational level ; average regliosity
, mostly introvert and of low social relations.
- The most common type of mothers among hebephrenic mothers
were the brutel, hostile , threatening, rigid and or aggressive
mothers, as it was present in 43.33% of cases with a statistically
significan difference between them and other control groups .
- Mothers of hebephrenic schzophrenics were domineering is 24% of
families and submission in lnly 16.66% , with a statistically
significant differene when compared to other control groups .
- Border live personality was the most prevailing among hebephrenic
mothers as it was present in 10% of them .
- Mental examination of hebephrenic mothers showed that 46% of
them were neurotic, 14% were psychosite while 40% of them were
mentally free.
- Mothers patient interaction was characterised by Domination ,
Hostility , Prigidity , Aggressiveus , over protechverses , and
symbiotic relations, with a statistically significant difference when
compared to other control groups .
- As regard the differences between mothers of male and female cases
no statistically significant difference was detected between the two
groups as regard their educational level , occupation, regliosity .
While mothers of male had of significantlly better social relation
and adjustment than those of females, also mother of male had a
significantlly has mental disorders than those of famelies .
- Mothers of male hebephrenic were found to be Regecting
possessive , symmbiotic and or restrective . While mothers of
female were found to be bmtil , hostile, threatening and aggressive.
- Mothers of hebephrenic patients get high scores on hypochondriasis,
depressive , hysteria and schizophrenia scales of the MMPI
questinare.
and no statistically sigjificant difference between mothers of male and
those of females as regard their scores on the MMPI .
