Abstract
A study from particularities to generalties to reach urban agglomeration through the development of housing types in egypt with the aim of designing housing for low-income tenants, educated youth by the new urban developments around cairo.since the relationship between urban development and housing is argoing thus the relationship between types of housing and urban developments must hereby need the developing of types of housing to reach complete urban development.urban development is the improvement and upgrading of all arcgitrsctural elements beginning with housing and its principles to the city and its elements and all its urban characteristics and the improvement of its infrastructure, its social and the economical standards to keep pace with the total development of the community. it deals with the city in all its artistic, visual and geometric dimensions and coordinating with its social, economical and inviromental constituents in their generalities and particularities so that the planning job shpuld be the responsibility of the groub not the individual. this happens respecting the scientific principles for urban development in addition to a local vision of the community.
