Abstract
Candida albicans causes several infections in man and animals as oral thrush, glossitis, stomatitis, vaginitis, placentititis, bronchial and pulmonary infections, chronic mucocutaneous candidiosis, nail infections, as well as generalized candidiosis and elementary tract infections.
The phototinactivating effect of three Photosensitizers: Hematoporphyrin IX dihydrochlorid (Hp.2HCl) and aluminum phthalocyanine tetrasulfonate (AlPCS4) and meso-tetra (N-methyl-pyridyl) porphine tetratosylate (TMP) against Candida albicans and Candida krusei was studied.
