Abstract
The aim of thiswork in this thesis is a continuation of our previous work on the synthesis of nitrogen heterocyclic derivatives from carbohydrate precursors, especially l-ascorbic acid and d-isoascrbic acid in the quest for new chemotherapeutic compounds that may show biological activities.
