Introduction
It’s undoubtedly that modern age is characterized by increasing the level of work — related stresses for indiviestdual and also for organizations stresses, whand
ich makes organization search for the b way possible to cope with to manage these stresses in the way that leads to performance improvement aid increasingincreasing its own effectiveness. By this way organizations harnessing the level of organizational commitment between employees whichbe leads to raising the level of quality in providing services. In that sure of the highest level of organizational competences and insividunal effiworking in
cacy.
It is recognized that employees spend most of their time i many different organizations, such as universities, factories, hospitals and the so
on, they are surrounded by many challenges that necessitate the search for best possible way to cope with the latest technologies and knowledges, which increase the level of fears and anxiety, and he has to complete his confused achievem and whateverwhatever these challenges are that may be give way to be suspected of his ability to perform his duties and responsibilities.
Sometimes noone can feel the negative effects of work stresses, but they may response positively to all these stressors, they may take these as points of departure toward achieving their goals. However increasing the level of work stresses may lead to negetive results and effects on the individual and the organizations which are consider h
fed to be of highest costs, ue to the scientific fact that increasing the level of psycological tension hasd the most negative effects on physical and psychological helalth and on performance level.
All of these events lead the organizations to take good care of the level of stresses inside them because of the big losses that may be resulted from these stresses. Organizations turned to trace these stresses in order to search for the best.way to cope with them due to the bad effects they have not only on the individuals and organizations but also on the surrounding social environments. This is due to the increasing of the level of awkward, undesirable behaviors inside the organizations.
There is no question about the importance of dealing with stressors because of its relationship with the health, physiological, behavioral and psychological conditions of individuals and its bad effects on organizations, as an administrative structure that is responsible for managing those work —related stresses. So the main f aim of administrative system of Benha University. The Research Problem
Work — related stress is considered to be one of the most important phenomena that is increased through the latest days especially in the field of administrative work, this phenomenon attracts attention of different researchers, managers and decision makers, every one tries to do his best in order to define the dimensions of this phenomenon, and the reasons, variables behind its appearance, and the administrative, physical and psychological effects that may be resulted from, and r also in searching fo the best possible strategies that may be used to decrease the level of this work — related

Therefore work — related stresses and its effects on the individual and organizational side cannot be ignored, because of the spreading level of its bad effects on individuals and organizations.
Due to what has been said it is very important to analyze the research problem from these following questions
- What are the best mechanisms that can be used to manage the work —related stresses for employees of the administrative system of Benha University.?
- What are the definitions of work — related stresses and its indications?
- What are the sources of work — related stresses and its own effects on individual and organization?
- What are the relationships between work — related stresses and these following variables ( job satisfaction — organizational commitment —and job performance?
- What is the suggested view for the management of work — related stress for employees of the administrative system of Benha University.? The research Aims
The research aims at :
1-Defining the nature of work stress and the most important sources and indications.
2-Defining the most important both positive stress on individual and organizational level.
3-Studying the level of work — related stress and that are resulted from ( role conflict —load — work environments — social stresses —
4-Studying the relationship between work —following variables:
- job satisfaction.
- Organizational commitment.
- Job performance.
5-Depicting the suggested view of the best possible mechanisms and strategies that can be used to deal with work stress on the individual and organizational level, and so defining the procedures and methods that may be followed in order to lessen the negative effects of these stresses. The Research Importance
- The importance of the research appeared in its contribution to defining the dimensions of work — related stress for employees of the administrative system of Benha University.
- Stress is considered to be one of the most important phenomenon that may lead to big losses for organizations due to its bad and negative effects.

- Trying to contribute to studying the work stresses and its effects on job satisfaction, because of the lack of the Arabic researches in this field and especially in the administrative system of universities.
- Knowing stress sources and causes provide the management with the ability to control stresses effectively in order to lessen its negative effects, and increasing its positive ones. The Research Method
The researcher depends on an integrated theoretical method that will help in understanding the theoretical foundations of work stress, and its relationship to job satisfaction, organizational commitment and job performance. In addition to this method the research depends on a lot of tools and techniques that may be used in the research methodology, because of its contribution to achieving the research goals. Therefore the researcher depends on some methods that is represented by the descriptive method in order to define the theoretical foundations of work stress and its relation to job satisfaction, organizational commitment and job performance, and the analytical method in order to define the sources and effects of stress. In addition to some of the best suitable methods that help to be sure of suggestions and results and recommendations in order to depict the suggested view for managing work stress. The Research procedures
The researcher will use some tools that will help her to achieve the goals and aims of the research, this tools are as follows:
- Field visits: the researcher performed many field visits for some colleges and faculties of Benha university with the aim to define the reality and causes of work stress, and the level of job satisfaction of the administrative system employees.
- Questionnaire: which considered to be one of the tools that may be useful in collecting information and data about the research topic, in the way that the researcher used a definite questionnaire that is constituted of four dimensions:
- Measuring the level of work stress, 7 dimensions, 31 items.
- Measuring the level of job satisfaction, 5 dimensions, 30 items.
- Measuring the level of organizational commitment, 3 dimensions, 20 items.
- Measuring the level of job performance, 3 dimensions, 22 items. The Research Limits (Delimitations )
The research limits may be defined in:
1- Topical Limit: which is performed through studying work stress concept, importance, sources, and effects and finally putting a strategy to manage it on individual and organizational level.
(5) 2-Geaeraphical Limit: which includes the faculties of ( Fdtication —Arts — Commerce — Sciences — Medicine ) and also the administrative
department of the university. 3-Human Limit: which includes employees of administrative system in the following departments ( youth affairs — Post graduate studies —graduate affairs — student affairs — librarians )
4-Time Limit: which includes the time of the research from 2005 — 2006 and the time of the field study from 28/6/2006 to 31/8/2006. The Research Terminology
The research investigates and examines these following terms:
- Work — related Stress.
- Job Satisfaction.
- Organizational Commitment.
- Job Performance.
