Abstract
Land molluscs including snails are of great economic importance in many places of the world they play a vital role inthe food chain of plants and animals in almost every region in which they exist in some countries people use land snails as food in other places the cause severe damages in agriculture horticulture and forestry furthermore they are of importance in medical and veterinay practices since they serve as intermediate hosts of certain parasitic worms of man and his domestic animals in addition they carry and spread diseases of cultivated plants.
