Abstract
Structural abnormalities of the fallopian tubes, uterus, and endometrial cavity may affect reproductive outcomes adversely causing infertility or reculrent pregnancy loss (speroof and Fritz, 2005). Until now,evaluation of the pelvis and upper genital organs has been dependent upon non-surgical investigations, namely hysterosalpingography and transvaginal ultrasonography with or without conhast, and endoscopic surgical methods, namely laparoscopy and hysteroscopy. The latter is known to be the gold standard for diagnosis and treatment of uterotubal diseases (Km et at., 1998).
