Abstract
John Donn’s poetic genius and his prominent stance as one of the greatest English poets have long been established with much appreciation - not to mention his being the most outstanding of the English Mrtaphyysical poets. The buik of critical weitings on him has long been remarkably enormous. Accordingly most, if not all, aspects of his poetry have handled one way or another. Thus for an originally new study om him it seems to have very little room and will be a painstaking, thought rewarding, task to be accomplished successfuuly.
