Abstract
As industrial projects and development are continuously Proceeding well as minu processes all round the world the probabilitvof minating the evnironrnent with hieavy metals. IS greatly elevated. Nowadays, large number of factories and industrial cornpanies are near rivers and on sides of their tributaries. Effluents, of a iderable bulk, of such factore is are poured in these fresh water Consequently, aquatic organisms especially the edible ones and fishes are liable to such waters polluted with heavy metals Therefore, the present study dealt wit h studying the clinical, pathological and histochemical alterations produced under the of exposure of Sarotherodori galiiaeus fish to gradually ascending concent.raticns of three heavy metals (copper, zinc and lead), at S of 1/4 5-d LC50, 1:2 5-d LCso’ 5-d LC50, and double 5-d LC50, in three organs of fish (gills, liver and kidneys). The study also with determining and measuring.
