Abstract
Symptomatic urinary outlet obstruction caused by BPH is one of the most common problems affecting men. however inspite of the different treatment modalities that have been emerged on the current days, TURP is still quoted as the gold standard in BPH therapy. Nevertheless, it seems likely from the published data that some men do suffer postoperative ED after this operation with an incidence varying from 5 - 40 % , However, most of these reports lack objective and quantitative data to substantiate patients claim of this complication.
