Abstract Diabetes mellitus is a syndrom characterized by chronic hyperglycemia and disturbance of carbohydrate, fat and protein metabolism associated with absolute or relative deficiencies in insulin secretion and or insulin action when fully expressed it is characterized by fasting hyperglycemia*1*. As the disease progress diabetics became susceptible to chronic complication such as nephropathy, retinopathy neuropathy and ischaemic heart disease*2*. Diabetic nephropathy is a common microvascular disorder in diabetics and is the most frequent ceause of end stage renal disease*3*. |
