Abstract
The present investigation deals with a species of the freshwater snails fauna of the A. R. E. This species is the prosobranch Viviparus unicolour (Olivier, 1801), belonging to the family Viviparidae. The work entails the external features and the functional anatomy of the digestive and genital systems of the snail. The snail collections were made from different localities in the freshwater courses in the governorates of Assiut and Giza.
