Abstract In many life testing,reliability theory,quality control and replacement policy situations,it is desirable to predict the time of future failures the times the early failures in the same sample.Statistical bounds on the results to be obtained in a future failures calculated from the results of a previous sample are known as prediction intervals (PI).THIS THESIS IS NAINLY CONCERNED WITH THE PREDICTION INTERVALS (PI) IF THE UNDERLYING DISTRIBUTIONS ARE ONE PARAMETER EXPONENTIAL DISTRIBUTION.WE SHALL CONSIDER TOW DIFFERENT APPROACH,AND SECOND,ABAYESIAN APPROACH . |
