Abstract The early and accurate diagnosis of IUGR may reduce the incidence of morbidity and mortality of fetuses with this condition. Clinical prenatal diagnosis remains difficult inspite of the Doppler umbilical artery and fetal blood flow velocimetry capacity to predict unfavorable outcomes. It is classified into type I or symmetric IUGR and type II or asymmetric IUGR. The key in management of IUGR is prompt observation and deciding the proper timing for delivery of the compromised fetus according to all given data. Key words : IUGR - Fetal Growth |
