Abstract Snoring is i loud, recurrent breath sound with variable intensity and frequency that occurs during sleep, it causes socio-medjcal pro hi ems. Tb is study was carried On 60 patients suffering from snonng. tlii r(y patients were treated by I A J P v1i ii C the other liii rt were treated by punctate diathermy of soft palate and uvula. All patients were suhlectcd to a proper assessment protocol including history taking, general examination, complete ENT exam i nat ion and fiheroptic nasopharyngoscopy. All pat ieiits vere assessed intraoperalively as regarding the operative I i mc and i nt raoperal ive bleeding with each procedure.
