Abstract Identifying areas of the myocardiun ith depressed but potentially reversible contractile function may bear an important significance in the therapeutic strategy and perhaps the prognosis of patients with coronary artery disease, Consequently, the noninvasive assessment odd dyssynergic but viable myocardium, which may contribute to improvement in the left ventricle function after revascularization, has generated great interest among cardiologist and cardiac surgeons. This work was performed on thirty patient known to have ischaemic heart disease with or without prior myocardiial infarction.all our patients were selected according to our strict protocol to fulfill our inclusion and exclusion criteria. All our patient were subjected to the folowing: 1- Full history taking and thorough clinical examination. 2- Resting electrocardiogram. 3- Full lipogram. 4- Exercise stress test. 5- Myocardial perfusion imaging. |
