The aim and hence the plan of this thesis was conceived to make a further contribution to programme designed for evaluating the national vegetative wealth to hunt for biologically active ingredients the imptus to ultilize natural constituents in plants in our country is largely due to a combination of high costs of imported and synthetic compounds and the constraints of small health budjets so it was deemed desirable to undertake the following studies.
