application of diochemical technique for analysis of some samples of significance with emphasis on quality control. INAA technique and gamma ray spectrometry were applied environmental and trace elements in the analyzed samples which were:
1- Plant samples, since it was found that plants affects in and influenced by environmental factors which made such samples suitable to be used as biomonitors for some environmental pollutants, and for application in environmental remediation.
These samples were various kinds of plant seeds of different significances, such as Jute seeds (as plant of fiber), where a study on the effect of various kinds of fertilizations on the elemental content of seeds resulting from cultivation of three different strains was carried out. Some edible seeds which were used daily as Egyptian food such as legumes, herb seeds, oil seeds were also analyzed for some elemental content.
2- Some children toys made of plastic (PVC) for the importance of controlling their trace element content owing to the probability of uptake of some undesirable elements by young children as a result of direct handling, or the release of such elements to the environment in the case of the disposal of such product.
