Abstract
ABSTRACT
The aim of the present work is to print 50/25/25 wool / viscose/ linen fabric with solid (Union) shade. This was accomplished by:
1- Cationizing the blended fabric with some commercial anionic dye fixing agents, then finding an appropriate anionic dye that can fulfill solid shade on the cationized fabric. It was found that some supranol dyes of Dyestar acid dyes on Setafix R (cationizing agent) cationized fabric achieve the goal. Optimization of acid printing on the cationized fabric was carried out.
2- Levafix® reactive printing of the blended fabric using some suitable alkaline catalysts, by batching the prints before steaming.
