Abstract
The induction of B-lactamase in Serratia marcescence 921/79 LR, CCM 303And HIM 307-2 was studied by structurally different lactam B-Lactam antibiotcs, The carbapenem compound imipenem, was the strongest inducer, while cefmetazole and ceffotetan, were good inducers for B-Lactamase in the S. marcescens strains tested.,
