Abstract
Stunded growth and delayed puberty are conspicuous features of chronic renal hilure.The degree of growth retardation depends on the original renal disease and the age of onset ofrenalfailure.The present work was designed to study some factors that may be related to the pathogenesis of sexual and growth retardation in prepubertal children with CRF.This study was carried out on 30 prepubertal chldren with CRF beside 15 healthy normal children with matchmg age and sex.Beside careful history talung, full clinical examination and routine investigations for diagnosis of renal failure, all the studied chldren.
