Abstract
The nasal mucosa is under hormonal control and a considerable number of nasal symptoms have been described in association with hormonal changes.The aim of this work is to study the histopathological, histochemical and immunological changes that may occur in the human respiratory nasal mucosa and the role of female sex hormones in its pathogenesis to arrive at a better understanding of the underlying pathology and its causes.
