Abstract Two field experiments were conducted at the Experimental Farrn of Gemmeiza Agricature Research. Station. during the summer seasons of 1991 and 1992, Seeds were sown on 25 March in the fist seson and on 17 March in the second one.The main objective of this research was to study the responses of the snap bean plants lPhaseolus Vul~arisL .) cvs.Giza 3 and Bronco to fertilization with NPK having three ratio of 1:2: 1, 22: 1 and 2:3:2 at rates of 96, 144 and 192 kg NPKIfed as well as the control (plants fertlized with NPK at the rat of 120 Kg/fed and the ration of 4:3:5, as part ”A”. Also, this work included the effect of foliar application of Zn and Mn (100, 120,140 g. /fed) and Fe (200, 220, 240 g. /fed) and their mixtures, as l as the control (without] foliar nutrition), on the same two previous cultivars (as part ”B”.).Plant were sprayed twice with Zn, Mn, Fe and their mixtures. The first sprapy was at the followering stage and the second 15 days later.The used desing in both parts of research was a Factorial Experiment conducted in a Randomized Complete Block design with four replications. |
