One of the most acute problems facing Egypt today is the rapid growth of Fopulation and its impact on Socioeconomic development, Thus Xgypt is facing numerous difficulties in providing adequate living conditions for their people. A Variety of ,Dolicies and Programs have been devised to Lower fertility in Egypt. These includes a broad spectrum of Policies ranging from macro-developmznt Plans to action programs designed to disseminate Contraceptive information and techniques. An official Population Policy yas started in 1965. However, the slov acceptance of Family Planning methods by Egyptian married women gdrticularlly in Rural area still at slow Level. The present study is an attempt to: (1) Exanlnes the current state of Family Planning Knowledge, attitudes and practice of the married women, (2) Identify factors related to imoaledge, attitudes and practic-e of family Planning.
