Abstract
Class V cavity preparations were prepared on the buccal surfaces of 45 freshly extracted lower molars they were divided into 3groups and each group containning 15 specimens were filled with an amalgam alloy the alloys used were conventional lathe-cut spheraloy and indialoy each alloy was triturated according to the manucacturer instruction and used to restore the class V preparations.
