Abstract
The pres snt investigation aims to coupare the toxicity of nin in secticides belonging to different groups against the cot ton aphid, Aphis gossypii, originated from three different governorates, Beheria, Sharkia and Kafr El-Sheikh. These in secticides were as follows : accotril , pirimor, dicofol, monocrotophos, fenitrothion , tmaro, folimatc, dinethoate, and prinicide. The ability of this pest to develop resistance and cross-resistance 5 these compounds under selection pressure with LC50 levcls during the successiv generations was also considered.
