Abstract
The present work wus cnt~ductedto study the opti.~nrmiu zd the most suitable application method of the dry fertilizers of the crops under local conditions. To achieve thrs god. two different types of fertibng mahe in addition to tlze manual fedzing (hmd broailcmting) were used. The first fertilizing ~nachew sc entrifugid fertilizer distributor. The second one was fertilizing d&g lnacltula (seed kill).T he fertdiiirlg maelline was mounted and operated by using Yarunar tractor 50 11p (37.3kW). Fert&zing operahn was performed on the wheat crop, Giza 69 variety by using two different typcs of fedaer, thrce different syllrncr speeds arid three different implement forwiid speeds wrth each of spinner speed. The work consisted of both laboratory and field exyeritnents. All the experiments of the present r study were carried out at Rice Mechazization Center, Meet El- Deeba Kafr EL- Shcilch Governorate, Egypt. The main resdts obtained from the experi~~lenrtws ill be sumnuirized under the following main points: 1 - The distribution pattern of two types of ferthng machine daring the application of the fertduer of wheat crop ulzder local conditions. 2- The grain yield and yidd components of wheat crop. 3- The field performance clmracteristics of the different ferWlnng machines (effective field capacity, field efficiency, power and fuel requirements and cost ardysis). 4- Comparison between the centrifugal fertilizer distributor and the fertilizing chhtg machine.
