Abstract
The r e s u l t s obtained could be summarized in the following pointa r 1, The toxic action of the organophosphate cyolane and cytrolane to adult female mites using Leaf disc dip and root application technique was more pronounced than that of the chlorinated hydrocarbon compounds, 2, The two organophosphate compounds were more toxic when they applied against adult female mite using root application technique than they were applied by l e a f d i s c d i p technique, 3 The toxic action of metepa was very poor against adult female mites when it was applied by leaf-disc-dip-techniqueB t: 4, Cyolane and cyrolane were found in genepal to A be of less toxic effect on mite eggs than the chlorinated hydrocarbon, tedion at a l l ages of eggs.
