Abstract
The present work aims to study the possible protective role of natural antioxidants namely lipoic acid [LA] as well as synthesized complexes combinations of germanium with cysteine (bis - cysteine germinates) [Cys+Ge] selenium with cysteine (selenocysteine) [Cys+ Se] and a triple combination formed of cysteine with germanium and selenium (bis - cysteine hydroselenite germinates)[Cys+Se+Ge] against chemically induced hepatocarcinogenesis with diethylnitrosamine and carbon tetrachloride
