Potatoes are one of the most important exported production in the external commerce of Egypt. It is also considered as one of the most important source of the foreign currency which is necessary for feeding the Egyptian plan of development. The study of the Egyptian external commerce of potatoes showed that the exported quantity increased generally. The quantities offered to the exportation section depended almost on the situation of the requirement in the local market. This thesis aims to study the Egyptian markets of export potatoes, and to suggest a plan which tries to maximize the income from the exported quantities of this product. Also it aims, to put a transfer model for the international commerce of potatoes using the mathematical models. By studying the production on the level continents, it showed that Europe produced a large `quantity of potatoes, Its product was about 41% from the international production during the interval 1976-1980. Asia followed Europe, since it produced 16.4% from the average international. North America, South America, Africa and Oceane, followed Asia since they produced 7%, 3.4%,1.6% and 4% from international production in the same interval respectively. Although most of the quantity produced in Europe was locally consumed, Europe was considered the most important exportation continent of this product, since its exportation was about 72.9% from the average of the international exportation during the interval 1976-1980. The most important exportation country for potatoes was hollan, which was the first one, since it exported 28.1% from the average of the international exportation during the same interval. France was the second country in Europe because it exported 9.9% from the exported quantity of potatoes.
