Abstract

Nicl2 doped polyvinylidene fluorid PVDF films were prepared by casting method. The doping weight fractions were up to46%. Nicl2 was selected to enhance the magnetoactivity, and hence the microwave response of the doped films. The infrared analysis, in the wave number range of 400-4000 cm-¹ at temperature of 298 k, was used to identify the main structure of the prepared films. Semicrystalline films of the undoped and the variously doped PVDF, were obtained. IR absorption bands characterizing the crystalline of PVDF were identified in the observed spectra. Additional bands were ascribed to the structural defects.
