Abstract An analytical experession for the nucleon - nucleus elastic scattering amplitude for light nuclei is obtained. This expression is used to calculate the differential cross section for the nucleon - nucleus elastic scattering using Gaussian distribution for the single - nucleon charge density. A comparison between the experimental differential cross-section and the predicted calculations for the reactions, 4He(p,p) 4He; 12c(p,p) 12c and 16o(p,p) 16o has been carried out. |
