Abstract
The present study included two viruses namely ; Matariya (MTY)and Rift Valley Fever (RVF).MTY virus was first siolated in Egypt from migratory birds located near Port Said Governorate in 1961. Since that time, no further work has been carried out on M T Y virus except the reported serological survay from human and animal sera, (Darwish, et al, 1975).
