Abstract
The present investigations deal with the environment characteristics in Lake Manazalah during the period from spring 1993 to winter 1994, five sites were chosen to represent the lake sampling (I :Fariskour drain, ii : Bahr El - Genkah, iii :Bahr legan, iv :Ashtoum El - Gamil and El - Boughdadi). Lake Manazalah is considered a highly dynamic aquatic system due to the different sources of both fresh and saline water from River Nile, agricultural drainage and annual precipitation and from Mediterranean Sea, that is beside the industrial and sewage waste water.
